If this control unit is not reinstalled by us, we only guarantee the function of the control unit itself. All costs incurred for removal and installation etc. will not be reimbursed in the event of a warranty claim. Warranty is only given for the device itself.
This regulation is unfortunately necessary because this control unit is very error-prone and problems can occur again and again during installation by untrained personnel. The vehicles also have various other sources of error due to their age.
