When removing the battery, first remove the entire battery box. After disconnecting the cube plug, the brake lines can be removed from the device. This is somewhat difficult due to the very narrow installation space. Now a Torx screw has to be removed from the retaining bracket, and the device can be pulled out completely with a little skill past the brake lines. The brake lines should not be bent and the threads should not be damaged, otherwise problems will occur during reassembly.
When installing, make sure that the cube plug is locked in place. The brake lines should be checked for leaks after assembly. Ventilate brake system and valve block according to manufacturer’s instructions (with OBD diagnostic tool). Maximum pressure of the venting device is 1.0 bar.
